Muir Woods Tour with Optional Sausalito Drop-Off
Overview
Meet our small van at Fisherman's Wharf, cross the Golden Gate Bridge while your driver-guide tells the story of the bridge and the redwoods, and spend 90 minutes in Muir Woods National Monument.
The National Park Service does not allow guided groups on the trails, so before you walk in, your driver-guide shows you the three trail loops on the map (about 30 minutes, 1 hour or 90 minutes) and you explore at your own pace. Our free app narrates the trip in 16 languages.
End the trip your way: ride back to Fisherman's Wharf, or get dropped off in Sausalito and make your own way back on the Golden Gate Ferry to the Ferry Building ($14 one way, $9.50 with Clipper) or by rideshare. On the 4:00 PM departure, plan on a rideshare.
The $15 park entrance fee (ages 16 and older) is not included, and you pay the park directly. Kids under 16 enter free.
About 3 hours round trip. Departures at 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM every day, plus a seasonal 4:00 PM departure from May 1 through September.
