Great Trip, the people really know how to make you feel right at home. We did the extended tour and it was worth it! The food was great, drinks were great and yes... a little dance party at the end.

Buddy was very interesting, and knowledgeable. He customized the trip to our interests. He recommended a fantastic place for lunch. We had a fabulous overview of San Francisco, and learned many details we did not know.

Arriving in San Francisco and starting a tour like this is tremendous luck. Our guide, Adam, didn't make you feel "inside San Francisco." His knowledge of the place and his pleasant explanations made us feel great. It is worth starting the journey this way....

THEY WILL EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONSOur Napa, Alcatraz, Russian River Valley and Yosemite experience with Golden Horizon.Napa Valley has been on our bucket-list for a while, we finally made it to Napa, and we stayed at Solage resort located in northern Napa Valley. The hotel is very elegant and located in a peaceful location near Calistoga. As for sightseeing, we booked multiple private wine tours with Golden Horizon Travel. Our awesome tour guide, Adam, took us to new and exclusive wineries each day, in and around Napa Valley. We also had a wine and food pairing in Sonoma and Napa Valley. The wineries we visited and the wines we had exceeded our expectations. With Adam, we felt like travelling with a friend, he never finished the tour as scheduled, he always added more time to our daily trips and made us feel like a family. We were really glad to book multiple private tours with this company, we had a hot air balloon ride scheduled during the weekend, but we could not fly due to wind and weather conditions. However, the next day, we took off from Yountville, and had one of the best sunrises ever. It’s an exciting and fun experience. Adam is an expert photographer and took a lot of beautiful photos of us, he later shared them with us. This was an amazing experience we will never forget. We wanted to see the big redwood trees and decided to skip Muir Woods and visit the Russian River Valley wineries and Redwoods. The choice of wineries there was a great fit for our taste, we visited DeLoach, Gary Farrell and Merry Edwards Winery. We love pinots and enjoyed awesome wines there. Last, we spared one more day to visit Yosemite national park during our stay in the Bay Area. We had a long day private trip with a nice tour guide, his name is Gerard. He was kind enough to take us on a hike to see the big sequoias after visiting the Yosemite Valley. We are surprised by the beauty and majesty of Yosemite, but a one-day trip doesn’t do justice to Yosemite - I recommend at least 2 or 3 day. Our last day took us from Napa to Alcatraz, and then, we got dropped off at SFO and then flew back home to Guatemala City. Thank you for the memories! We had a wonderful trip to Yosemite. Everything was well organised with plenty of time given at each spot to take photos or to just simply stand and admire the stunning scenery. Plenty of useful information was given and our driver was very friendly and helpful. He did everything possible to ensure that we got the most out of our trip. Thank you.

We hired Golden Horizons for 1-1/2 day SF tour, and 1 full day Muir Woods and Sonoma Historic Plaza. Also, for 4 days in Yosemite. I can’t speak highly enough about our tour guides!! Mary took us around for the first 2 days and she was amazing! So knowledgeable and super friendly! We learned so much about the different neighborhoods and history of SF . She recommended an Italian restaurant in Historic Sonoma and it was awesome!! Highly recommend!!! Thanks Mary!

This was a great way to see Yosemite. Train transfer from San Fransisco was straigtforward but note that you must get the Amtrak shuttle bus (included in your ticket) to the train station in Oakland before connecting with the train to Fresno. The hotel provides a shuttle service in Fresno and the accomodation was fine but be aware that the day of the Yosemite tour starts early. Tour was excellent with the guide well informed but the distances covered take a long time due to the size of Yosemite. Interesting packed lunch with good sized sandwich but there is an option to get lunch at the hotel restaurant in Yousemite. Lots to see & pack into a day but worth it. Note that you need to leave the park in good time to make the train connection for the return journey.

Our guide from Crossroads was everything anyone could have asked for. The weather kept us from seeing many of the parts of the park we had hoped to see, but he was so comfortable in the Valley that he showed us portions that would not have been on the regular tour. Totally amazing day and well worth the price!If you book thru Cool San Francisco, be careful. There was a train schedule change that caused us to miss it. Amtrak told us Cool San Francisco had beed notified two weeks before. We were not!!! Luckily there was a later Train that got us to our hotel in Fresno by 12:00 midnight. We were picked up the next morning at 6:30. Not a good start.Cool San Francisco's Web Site does not give all of the information that is needed nor does it keep you informed of changes. I do not know if this is the responsibility of Crossroads or Cool San Francisco, but beware!
