Our Wine Country tour was fabulous. Anthony, our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. He was very easy to interact with. The van was clean and very comfortable. We visited three distinctly different wineries. All were great in their own way. We very highly recommend Edge of the World Tours.

We were a group of nine on a cruise and agreed that after two days at sea, we wanted our port stop in San Francisco to be worth getting off the ship. We wanted to hit all of the tourist attractions in San Francisco, and visit a winery, but we had tme constaints and needed some flexibility. I looked at several options of pre-set tours and the most appealing was a tour highlighted by Tours By Locals. I contacted them and they directed me to Marc Terrier, Edge of the World Tours. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted but Marc was very patient with me. He asked a series of questions, and consequently recommended a custom private tour. After several iterations, we were able to agree on an itinerary that had something to offer for all nine of us. It fit our time restraints, and the price was reasonable.We were fortunate to get Marc as our tour guide. He was very engaging, personable, and knowledgeable. He made our tour enjoyable with his quick wit and wealth of history. He made a great recommendation for lunch and the winery, Mayo Family Winery, was a winner. It's not easy to please a diverse group of nine, but we all agreed it was a great day.Thank you Marc for making our day in San Francisco so much fun. We all walked away with a special memory.

Highly recommend. James was a great guide and picked 3 great wineries, each with their own vibes. The people at the wineries were great and educational. Pickup at the ferry terminal was easy. Communications before the trip were excellent and thorough!

Sierra exceeded every expectation my mom and I had for this experience. From the very beginning, she created such a warm, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere that it honestly felt less like a photoshoot and more like spending time with someone we had known for years. Her energy was so genuine, kind, patient, and uplifting, and she made sure we felt confident and relaxed every step of the way.What stood out most was how knowledgeable and passionate she is about her craft. Sierra knew exactly how to guide us with poses, lighting, angles, and locations while still allowing everything to feel natural and authentic. She was incredibly patient, attentive, understanding, and detail oriented, never making us feel rushed for even a moment. She took the time to make sure every shot was meaningful and beautifully captured.Not only was the experience fun and memorable, but the photos themselves were absolutely stunning. Sierra has an amazing eye and somehow managed to capture genuine emotions and moments in a way that felt effortless. Looking through the photos brought real joy to both me and my mom because she preserved memories that we will truly cherish forever.If I could do this experience all over again, I absolutely would without hesitation. Sierra is the type of photographer who goes above and beyond to make people feel seen, comfortable, and celebrated. I cannot recommend her enough, and anyone booking with her is genuinely in amazing hands.

Anthony was the best tour guide. I travelled solo and he created an inclusive environment and had a blast. The wineries we went to were so great!

We had THE BEST time. Anthony is an amazing tour guide. He is fun, entertaining, knowledgeable of wine AND San Francisco/ Sonoma county. This tour is so well prepared. We had a wine tasting in 3 vineyards, Homewood, Seamus and B.R. Cohn. All in the perfect order, allowing us to know so much about wine and the history of Sonoma and their wines. Every one in the three vineyards were super nice and made sure that we had an amazing time. Anthony knew so much about historic landmarks in Sausalito and in Sonoma. He is so patient, kind and super funny. Always making sure we had a good time. You definitely want him for your tours. We had an amazing time. Can't wait to book another tour with Edge of the world tours! to Muir woods maybe next time

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Anthony, was charming and delightfully funny. We were really glad to book this on a beautiful day to go wine tasting. Anthony was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. I learned a lot about wine and had a nice buzz going on throughout the experience. We went to 3 locations, Homewood Winery, Famous Seamus and B.R. Cohen. We got a couple of bottles of a delicious Merlot from Homewood Winery. Seamus had really great smelling candles aside from very cool decor and great wines. B.R. Cohen's wine tasting was on the outdoors tables, and we enjoyed some nice conversation within our group and I really like their Cabernet Sauvignon but was too tipsy to get another bottle of wine. Ah at this last location they had a raffle within our group to win a bottle of balsamic vinegar, and they asked me to pick the winner out and I ended up picking myself!Oh, we had lunch at a nearby town, Anthony was kind enough to point out some of the nice, popular places to eat. It was right after our first tasting, but do eat something before heading out into the trip if you are a light weight like me. Cheers!

We had a fantastic tour guide/driver Paul - he had an amazing knowledge of the area. So pleased we visited Sonoma county and Sonoma town for lunch - great contrast to San Francisco to make the most of our trip from England! Enjoyed every wine tasting - each very different and informative- bought a couple of bottles to drink whilst we’re in CA. We were so lucky to have two owners give us the experience and Nick st Cohen’s was a lot of fun, giving hints and tips on how to appreciate wine. My daughter aged 21 also loved this trip too - so great for all ages over 21 I think! We took the ferry home from Sausalito, which was fab as well.

We truly cannot wait to come back and book Anthony again. He’s simply the best.

Amazing experience. Our tour guide had a huge amount of knowledge about San Francisco and Napa/Sonoma and loved the smaller wineries we visited. The smaller group experience made it feel more intimate and loved getting to know the others in our group. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

August 10, 2026 my daughter and I took the Sonoma wine tour. Anthony was our guide and he was fantastic. He was personable, upbeat, knowledgeable and a delight to be with. The tour went to 3 wineries and each one was unique. The wine tastings were great and the 'teachers' of each were so knowledgeable. I learned alot. It is great value for the money. Anthony was so genuine and kind and catered to each one of us. A true professional.
