Absolutely fabulous tour of San Francisco in a classic VW T2b Transporter. Our driver Clay was friendly, told us loads about San Francisco as we drove round. Swapped peoples seating position in the VeeDub to ensure everybody got a different view. Plenty of photo opportunities too Culminating with a ‘spirited’ down Lombard Street before heading back to the pick up point

I am a local to the Bay Area, but I’ve never done this night cruise of the bay. I would highly recommend it to locals or visitors. It was beautiful, calm, relaxing, and everyone in my party really enjoyed it.

Booking online easy and ferry boarding easy. At Alcatraz there is quite a steep walk up to the tour start - then a free audio provided and tour to follow. Extremely interesting - as expected - and much enjoyed! Tip would be to have a clothing layer - the wind in the exercise yard is biting and we were there on an extremely hot day! Views stunning.
