San Francisco Cultural & Theme Tours

Was cool to do, keep in mind you are paying for the Audio tour on pintours only, as the Tower itself is free to enter, but I loved the tour, well worth it for the price.

This was the last tour I did with pintours while in SF, it was nice, a bit short in my opinion, but the kids liked it so it worked out fine.

Really enjoyed this tour. Learned a ton about Chinatown and its history. The food recommendations were excellent and I appreciated that there was even a stop on the tour for me to sit down and eat.

We always enjoy the Ferry Market on Saturday mornings. Arrive before 10 to avoid line ups for all the delicious food stalls.

This Questo adventure has an Al Capone theme and with views of Alcatraz and the bay from this area, it works. We had a good time solving the puzzles, and the walk is around the little park by the cable cars, so it's easy and convenient. The walk starts and ends in the same place, even though the instructions don't tell you that.

This is a beautiful part of San Francisco - it's right by the Cable Car stop and the Maritime Museum. The puzzles aren't too hard, and you don't have to walk very far, just around the big park at the waterfront. It has history of Alcatraz, Ghirardelli Square and this part of the city. It's a fun way to get away from the touristy stuff at Fisherman's Wharf and take in the amazing views from this little gem spot.

This is where. I grew up lived on the block next to it. Had some secret places like the mouse graveyard at the base of the watchtower where they would fall. The museum was a hidden gem as well(in Geneva hall. Scott hall used to be taller but the rotunda lost the top floor in the 1906 earthquake. Now the home of college of Redlands. Geneva hall is the place where I first met the Dalai Lama. Great venues for events with the chapel in Geneva hall it is a good location for weddings with receptions on the plaza with the views.

That was really fun - and we saw parts of Chinatown we never would have explored as well as learned a bunch!!

It was a fantastic experience to get to know the history and feel of San Francisco! I love getting to walk around and seeing the area! I highly recommend this tour!

Here's a review based on your experience:My 10-year-old son and I had such a blast with this short walking puzzle! It made our sightseeing adventure in San Francisco so much more engaging and interactive. The story was well-crafted, and the puzzles hit the sweet spot—they were challenging but not so difficult that they became frustrating. It was great to be able to explore at our own pace, pausing whenever we needed a break.One thing to note: I did give my son my phone for the game, and the GPS usage does drain the battery pretty quickly, so having a power pack to recharge my phone after was a lifesaver.We did run into a small hiccup at the Hyde St Pier stop. The clue was a red light pole right outside the entrance to the Hyde St Pier national park, but despite being right next to it, we couldn’t unlock the step. The pier itself required a $15 entry fee for adults, so we did not go in. We managed to work around this by walking around the souvenir shop to the right and down the pier a little bit on the other, not scenic side, but it wasn’t as seamless as the other stops.That minor issue aside, this was a fantastic experience and offered great value for the fun and learning we got out of it. Highly recommend it for families looking for a unique way to explore San Francisco!
