Best way to get the most of Bay area wine country!
My family and I had the best time visiting a curated set of wineries tailored to our preferences during this outing to Sonoma wine country. It was the highlight of our trip to the Bay area. Chris and Brian worked hard to understand our preferences in advance of our tour and delivered on an absolutely fabulous wine tasting experience. Brian took care of all the finer details and the driving so that we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy the wine! Not only did we enjoy the wineries we visited for the wines we tasted but the locations were picturesque and very inviting. We highly recommend taking this excursion away from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco and enjoying the slower pace this activity affords. We found some wines that were absolutely delightful and look forward to remembering our time in Sonoma when we open one of the many bottles we purchased in the months to come!

Before heading out of the city, she gave us a fantastic mini tour of San Francisco, driving through Billionaires’ Row and some of the city’s most exclusive neighborhoods. Maddy, our driver and guide, was an absolute gem. Friendly, knowledgeable, and unbelievably kind, he went above and beyond to ensure Tutty and I felt completely at ease. From helping carry Tutty’s stroller up and down stairs to offering thoughtful insights throughout the tour, he added a layer of warmth that made the day even better. Cool San Francisco suggested the wineries and each was unique, beautifully chosen, and pet-friendly too—a rare and wonderful treat. We had the opportunity to be taken around by Karill the owner. There were only two of us on this excursion. He picked us up on time and gave us lots of back ground and history as we drove through North Beach and towards the destinations listed in the program. I think because there were only two of us - we made some extra stops because we had extra time to see more sites. We have done many of these food and wine tours, This one was a little different due to none of the tastings are included. The cheese tasting they say is included I would classify more as a sampling of what they have offering that morning which were three cheeses. Then you buy what you want and enjoy a breakfast at the picnic tables overlooking the expansive landscape. We really enjoyed the Meadery. All of their mead is sparkling - you must sample both flights! Lunch along Hwy 1, outdoor, overlooking the seascape was lovely. The oysters, soup, crab and bread were all delicious. Then off to the Ranch for another wine tasting. we chose to do a wine flight and an olive oil/gelato flight. I know it sounds strange - olive oil and gelato - but it works! So good! This outing is a great opportunity to support small businesses that focus on what they do best, either cheese, mead, wine, olive oil products or seafood. I suggest going as a group to maximize the cost of the excursion because you are paying for the transportation, but definitely a must do!

We found this tour company online! We had a fabulous time with Kate, our personal tour guide for the day! Kate was amazing, sharing all her knowledge and some history along the way since it was our first time visiting! We had great conversations and laughs throughout the day! Very relaxed feel, not rushed at all!! Our day began at 9am and returned to San Francisco after 5pm! We visited three wineries and all of them we felt so attended to! We cannot say enough great things about the tour and our day! We will recommend this tour to all friends back home!

We booked a wine tour through RST at the last minute, and I am so pleased with how accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable the entire company has been. Lisa was super helpful when we called, literally the day before, we were looking to have a driver pick us up and drop us off in Oakland for an 8 hour tour in Napa across a few wineries. Eugene picked us up at 8am and helped us chart an amazing day. We had a few winery appointments already, and he filled out our day with some really exceptional exceptions culminating in a killer lunch. Eugene was attentive, personable, entertaining, and super knowledgeable. Given there were only three of us on the tour, we really enjoyed connecting with him and welcoming into our family for the day! I can't recommend RST more for exceptional service. Feels like you're riding with a good friend...that knows way more about Napa than you do. 🙂
