Our driver Jeffrey greeted us on time and very enthusiastic! We stopped at Golden Gate Bridge for about 15 minutes, then off to our first wine tasting in Somona. It was very nice and beautiful however I read that we would have time to stroll the grounds a little but that did not happen after our wine tasting. We stopped for 2 hours in the plaza as free time which was very nice. Jeff had wonderful recommendations for us as far as restaurants in the plaza. When we were back on our bus we were told we weren’t going to Napa Valley, we were going to another winery back in Somona. The winery was beautiful, did the tasting for about an hour and then were told we had few minutes to walk around the building- which was fabulous. But again not what was written in the description of the tour of having time to stroll around the grounds. Overall it was a lovely day, just would’ve liked to sit down with a glass of wine outside and enjoy the sunshine and the grounds, and I didn’t understand why we didn’t go to Napa Valley as advertised.

Jeffrey made our trip to Sonoma and Napa fun and effortless. His easygoing vintage California personality "paired" perfectly with visits to two boutique wineries away from the commercial crowds. The small group made conversation easy. Booking and meeting up were simply and the tour was well paced--we never felt rushed and still had the evening to enjoy back in the city. Highly recommend!
