This was such a great tour. Andre, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and personable (and is quite an interesting individual in the best of ways).It just so happened to be a very small group (just 4 if us including our guide), which I loved. Chinatown and Little Italy have so much history, too much to experience in one trip, but Andre managed to pack A LOT into the 3-hour tour.TIP: Be sure to check the weather when packing and dress in layers if it's typical SF weather (55-65 degrees). I didn't enjoy it as much as I would've because I was chilly, but that's my fault for not dressing appropriately.

I would recommend to do this first. Not intended to be a shopping tour, but educational and will help you identify what you really want to visit on your own time. Be patient, not everyone has proper table etiquette, especially at a round table. Some people always feel the need to get to the front of the line or they will miss out., don’t worry, there’s plenty to share. And if you have separate from your spouse during snacks, enjoy the opportunity to have a conversation with someone you’ve never had a conversation with. I enjoyed that. Help the tour guide by speaking up if there are no utensils or beverages at table. At last stop pizza arrived and there were no utensils. The pizza was thin, and hard transfer by hand. Sanitizer was readily available though. Glass of water was requested, but only 1/4, no ice, was poured???? Tour guide did ask about food allergies, but participants should use that opportunity to disclose such things as “I don’t eat pork”. Bring good walking shoes get familiar with group in case someone gets slowed in traffic. That will help the guide out. We were in SanFran 4 days, only thing I’d do differently is put this excursion 1st. Tour Guide have us extra time, about 1/2 hour extra. Tour could easily be 5 or 6 hours if you want to get in to it. I already know where my next meals will be. Thanks Andre’. I definitely recommend this tour on the front end.

Our guide Catherine was the best, so knowledgeable about the area and the history of the city, it was a pleasure to spend time with her. The tour was taken at a good pace, we never felt rushed. All the food we had was absolutely delicious, and the staff at the restaurants friendly and welcoming.

Awesome tour! We started with a clean new van equipped with charging cables, which was a great touch. Chris was amazing, friendly knowledgeable, and full of great recommendations for places to eat and visit in while we were in San Francisco. The tour was fantastic and gave us the opportunity to see and visit many of the cities wonderful sights. Chris really helped us appreciate the layout, history and heritage of San Francisco. We especially love the small intimate group experience. It allowed us to spend more time seeing the sites we were most interested in and gave us the opportunity to ask questions that may not have been possible with a larger group. I highly recommend Chris and his tour. It was enjoyable, informative, and a memorable experience. I highly recommend!

Our driver Jeffrey greeted us on time and very enthusiastic! We stopped at Golden Gate Bridge for about 15 minutes, then off to our first wine tasting in Somona. It was very nice and beautiful however I read that we would have time to stroll the grounds a little but that did not happen after our wine tasting. We stopped for 2 hours in the plaza as free time which was very nice. Jeff had wonderful recommendations for us as far as restaurants in the plaza. When we were back on our bus we were told we weren’t going to Napa Valley, we were going to another winery back in Somona. The winery was beautiful, did the tasting for about an hour and then were told we had few minutes to walk around the building- which was fabulous. But again not what was written in the description of the tour of having time to stroll around the grounds. Overall it was a lovely day, just would’ve liked to sit down with a glass of wine outside and enjoy the sunshine and the grounds, and I didn’t understand why we didn’t go to Napa Valley as advertised.
