It was a good site to visit. Didn’t feel rushed nor harassed by anything extra.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Alcatraz. The audio tour was great. All of the employees were friendly. I can't wait to see more improvements on the island. I do think it was excessive to have to show our tickets three times before boarding.

We were warmly welcomed, lavished with music, poetry, art and amazing food and were encouraged to look within as well as through our senses. The joy and kindness were infectious to open our hearts and radiate love and creativity. Can I give 10 stars? Or all the way to infinity and beyond? I've already booked my next adventure :)

It was a fun experience! I was filled with more than just art. It was a looking glass into yourself and I loved that concept.

We were able to do so many activities and stayed busy. We saved a lot a money on tickets for a family of 4. We enjoyed ourselves and it was easy once we used the itinerary to plan each day.

Outstanding tour!! Very well organized and the atmosphere was amazing! Would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to tour this place.

Great savings. We were able to do the big bus tour. Made transportation in the city easy. Didn't have to use any other transportation. Loved the boat ride and the science museum. Plus your explained all the sites

Although the Academy was excellent there were some problems with the ticketing that should be addressed. Nobody seemed to know about the tickets that were supposed to be issued to us on arrival but the staff did sort out the problem without too many hassles.

It was a fantastic tour - great value for what is included! Only complaint is that we didn't get to see as much as the academy afterwards since it closes at 10pm. Suggest taking the 6pm tour and don't miss the earthquake simulator!

The first part of the tour was with Dylan’s tours- Laura was my tour guide. The red open air van was so nice as it traveled and maneuvered the hills.from Fisherman’s wharf through several neighborhoods- viewed Golden Gate Park, Coit Tower, Fort Point ( we saw the surrounding grounds but didn’t go into the fort). We viewed North beach, Russian hill, the Broadway Tunnel, into parts of Chinatown, and back to Fisherman’s wharf to depart to Alcatraz Island.Turn your online voucher in for a ticket at the Kiosk. Bring ID.Take the ferry to Alcatraz Island- viewed the various buildings some only viewable from outside- saw the American Indian displays. The main prison sits atop the hill. After entering, you pick up your electronic tour guide with headsets. After following the tour, return your headsets and exit the prison.I learned that the prison was expensive to upkeep and thus its closure, the cells are 5 by 9 feet. I was shocked by how tiny they are. The open yard for prisoner recreation was where I could breath freely, but the air on this day was cold.Birds of various kinds and gulls occupy the island as the island is a bird sanctuary. The park system maintains the site. The rangers great you with a short orientation when first exiting the ferry. Maps are 1 dollar American that you slip into a slot.All together my Dylan’s tour and the ferry trip and tour of Alcatraz was five hours- you can stay on the island for as long as the ferry is running. I stayed for about 2 hours.There are snack foods and drinks on the ferry. It is pricey. For example I bought a seven dollar hotdog- nothing else- I brought my own water bottle and a small tote.There is a very well stocked gift shop. Postcards, books, sweat and tee shirts, brass souvenir keys- I bought one- Cups, I don’t expect so many people working for this park- in the gift shop, on the grounds, and in the prison. It was really nice for me to see. The people in the bookstore- come over by ferry earlier in the morning- I asked.Overall a worthwhile combination of tours- I would do this again especially since I know better what to expect.I would bring a water bottle and a protein bar, wear hiking shoes, bring a hat, maybe sunglasses, cash if you want a map, money for gift shop.Remember Laura with Dylan’s tours!!! She’s great and very knowledgeable and outgoing.Tips. Enough said.Bathrooms located on Alcatraz and before the ferry ride. There might have been one on the ferry.Enjoy!!

A tour to Krka Waterfalls fro Split. It was about 1 hour bus ride, in a comfortable bus. Being April there were only 15 or so travellers. Bus driver Andy, was excellent driver. Not aggressive and we felt safe in his hands. The tour guide was Darijo (Dario). He was very interactive, pleasant, interesting, entertaining, informative, personable and was well received by the group. He made the tour! It wasn’t the greatest weather, cool in am but the afternoon was more pleasant. It was a beautiful walk. Saw a few stray cats and we had bought cat food so they were happy. The waterfalls were beautiful. Dario told many stories about the area . Several of us attended the wine and cheese tasting in another community at Sladic Vinarija, a local winery. We tasted 4 wines. Most of us really liked the Dessert wine. Much like a port. It was extremely good. A thank you to Marijo, the server who also makes the wine with his other family members. Cool Destinations Tours we’re very punctual. The lady( Mya) we purchased the tickets from was very helpful in assisting us. Cool Destinations was a great company so we booked another tour with them for Dubrovnik. Thank you to Dario! You’re the best!

This pass is terrific. It helps us plan the trip and hit all the best stops. It saved us a lot of money! I always check to see if the city I am going to has a go city pass to buy.

Knowing the difference between vouchers and tickets. We almost missed our tour due to the misunderstanding.

The tour was great but there is a significant uphill climb to get to Alcatraz. They should have more tram rides up the hills.

We had an amazing time. Both the cruise around the bay and the Alcatraz tour were as awesome as we expected.Our real only complain was the fact that we and a bunch other people arrived early for the Alcatraz tour and went in line, with the idea of getting good seats in the ship. However the people in charge of logistics kept leaving latecomers in alongside the early goers. Of course it’s nitpicking and maybe even petty. But what’s the point of arriving early if there’s no reward?Again, the cruise and tour were amazing. Loved the audio explanation of all the parts in Alcatraz. Definitely will recommend.

Touring Alcatraz was really nice, but I did feel like it was slightly overpriced. I wish more of the island was restored so that you see it all. D boat ride to the island and back was smooth, however, we had to wait a long period to get back to shore. One small boat came dropped people off and left. It would be nice if they posted times the boats would come pick so people could be prepared. I believe we waited 45 minutes.
