Awesome place to visit the history of this place with the audio tour really brought it to life

Amazing, beautiful, art in every corner. Warm, friendly, most interesting and wonderful experience.

We did the night tour. Sun was setting as we made our way across the bay. It added an eeriness to it that the day wouldn’t have provided. Plan on staying for a while after the tour, and move around what you can on your own. We tried to catch the first ferry back, and feel like we missed something’s. We unfortunately were pressed for time. The audio tour explained a lot, and getting to be there was nice. Also, knowing your $ goes to keeping this historical site a float is nice.

Leave behind your preconceived notions and prepare to soak in the experience with an open mind. The artists behind the Gregangelo museum have poured their hearts, souls, and talents into creating this event. The word museum doesn't do it justice.. Think the love child of a private immersive performance and Alice in Wonderland. Amazing sets, beautiful costumes, imaginative themes, story, characters. There isn't time to take in a tenth of of the richnes. I've never seen anything like it. I don't think it could exist anywhere but San Francisco. Fabulous!For Covid reasons the event we experienced was outdoors, The characters maintained distance from us. My "pod" contained my husband and me. The museum accepted one pod every 15 minutes. I felt reasonably safe; We're vaccinated and were required to be masked.The shows change so I'll definitely be back. Also, this is going on the "must do" list for my out-of-town guests.

The tour was great. We went on the night tour and really got a good feel for the atmosphere. The audio was well done and very informative. The views of San Fran at night were amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the extra informational chats.

Absolutely loved the audio tour, the demonstration of the doors and the view of the hospital section. It was nice to be at the park during a time where it wasn’t quite as packed

We thoroughly enjoyed it, and we loved how our group were integrated into it, so it felt as if we were part of it.I saw it as a journey through the mind, personality, wit and humor of the Velocity Circus Master Artist Gregangelo. It is like walking into his Art...His world as he envisions it, full of love, laughter, hope, dreams, magic, and wonder...It's an evening we'll never forget. Over the top and beautiful!! Tour of Metamorphosis: Emerge From Your Cocoon!! This was an outdoor interactive experiance! I have always been amazed by Gregangelos imagination!!! This is something unique and amazing to be seen! BEAUTIFUL!!!

Enjoyed tour of alcatraz island. Did not like that the various presentations were at different locations which caused transiting back and forth across the island.The sunset cruise did not happen because last Bay cruise was at 6 and sunset did not occur until 815ish.

My family and I had a great time exploring the grounds of Alcatraz in August, 2024. I highly recommend the night tour for a spookier, more solemn experience. Be prepared for the cooler temps and wind by bringing a jacket. There's also a fair amount of walking uphill, but there is also a shuttle you can take if walking isn't manageable for you. We enjoyed the experience!

Such a great immersive adventure. If you are looking for something unique, fun, and authentically San Francisco, this is what you want to do. I really loved the combination of local folklore, amazing costuming, and stellar performers. It was incredible to see so many unique performers. There were musicians, singers, acrobats, and even animal performers. It is a great pandemic-safe performance and a chance to see live theater during this crazy time.

Absolutely splendid! Costuming was off the charts, as were the performances. Especially loved the harp tucked into the trippy, beautiful garden, before walking into even crazier experiences! Beautiful home and fantastic artists. Laughed a lot and felt really lifted afterwards.

The entire experience was beyond amazing! It's difficult to pick a favorite part of it since it was all so incredible. I was completely blown away by every single part of it. I can't recommend it enough! The costumes are epic, the random musical performances are super inspiring, and the comedic points in the tour are hysterical! The Gregangelo Museum team is top notch at uplifting while thoroughly entertaining their guests. This is definitely and unforgettable experience.

My family and I had the most AMAZING experience at "Metamorphosis", the outdoor magical fantastical land of Gregangelo's. I was so happy and felt so special to have this experience, as if exclusively just for the four of us (COVID safety measures), I nearly cried!!! There was sooooo much to look at and be engaged in, there was so much beauty and talent in the performers, we felt like we've slid down the rabbit hole in Gregangelo's Wonderland. We were so touched by the experience, we're going to buy tickets to give and share with our friends and family!!!

We've been talking about this absolute jewel of an experience since we saw it about 10 days ago. We saw Metamorphosis and thought it was incredibly unique and special. I don't want to spoil this for anyone but there were child performers, delightful animals, gorgeous musicians, and a psychedelic, show-stealing rabbit. Grab tickets if/when you can! Welcome to San Francisco!
