He gave little tidbits of information related to the different places our small group was from as well as a ton of information about the red woods, Muir Woods, SF and some surrounding cities. The itinerary was quite flexible and we were able to work with him to line it up perfectly and we hit all the spots that we wanted to. We would definitely go in a tour with Fred again.

Often these city food tour are long on narration but short on really interesting food, because of the time of day and the dynamics of having a group come in to taste one plate. THIS WAS THE EXCEPTION. The dishes were all uniquely different from things I’ve tried before. We ran the gamut of tastes of Mexico, Asian fusion, African chocolate and more. Of the six stop I thoroughly enjoyed five (which is a high average). Our guide Paul was informative and unscripted.

Maddy, our driver and guide, was an absolute gem. Friendly, knowledgeable, and unbelievably kind, he went above and beyond to ensure Tutty and I felt completely at ease. From helping carry Tutty’s stroller up and down stairs to offering thoughtful insights throughout the tour, he added a layer of warmth that made the day even better. This is a great tour to do on your own. On the day that it's scheduled you can do it at any point. You have the ability to pause it and continue it later. Follow the recommended route on the app and the narrator will tell you about each point that you get to. It is very interesting and informative, plus if you have children with you they will learn a lot. You get to see the sights and learn about them on your own time.
