I purchased this for Mother's Day weekend with my son and it was an excellent value. We ended up doing the Golden gate bridge cruise and that was amazing! We also did the exploratorium but that day admission was free so I ended up saving one of my three activities. We went to the aquarium and although it was very small it was quick to go through and our favorite part were the touch tanks and shark tunnel. The employees were really nice and we got to touch baby stingrays. I probably would not have paid for this admission on its own but it was a good deal through the go City pass. We ran out of time so I booked another trip to come back and we came back in June within the 30 days and went to the zoo. The zoo was amazing and much bigger than I thought it would be! I will definitely be using go City again!

Standard tour of major sights, with the highlight of the Golden Gate, no waiting line. Best for the first acquaintance with the city. Dress warm, wind can be chilly.

Great way to learn about San Francisco. Riding at the top of the bus is the way to go- just be prepared for high winds as you go across Golden Gate Bridge.

We purchase the 4 pass explorer pass . I wouldn’t normally purchase these Type of things but I did my research Into the places we wanted to visit and it was worth every penny . We went to San Francisco . This pass worked for us as we could decide when and where we wanted to visit , turn up and show the digital pass on the app . Everywhere was accepting - and it worked like a dream . I would definately do this again

The overall experience and value were very good. I l loved that. I loved being able to see many different sight in the city. My only complaint was there are 3 hop on-hop off bus tour companies in San Francisco and none of the stops were clearly marked. Until I rode the bus, I was not aware of any of the stop's actual locations. It would say one stop, and I put that in location and it would not put me where I needed to be. I started at the beginning first stop by taking an uber there. My experience was great from that first stop but I didn't necessarily want to start from the stop as there was ones closer to my hotel. There were many stops that did drop me right where I needed to be and that was very helpful.

This was a convenient way to see and get around the city. I'd never done this type of tour before so I didn't know what to expect. I was confused about where to catch the bus from Pier 27 which is where the Virgin Voyages cruise let us off. I was told to walk down to the ferris wheel to catch it despite there being a bus sitting at pier 27. I was told that there weren't enough people for him to leave and I wasn't offered the option of boarding and waiting for more people. So I began walking and saw several big busses drive by me along the way. I eventually just stopped at pier 39 to hang out for a bit, as the ferris wheel that I was told to catch was further down the road. While there I noticed a Big Bus stand selling tickets, so I checked the app and saw that I could catch the bus from Pier 39. The app showed an image with a large red arrow of exactly where to wait, which was extremely helpful because the stops are not marked. I boarded the bus but wasn't given headphones nor told to grab a pair. Once I was seated I noticed others with headphones so I asked where'd they'd gotten them and I was told that they were in a bin on the main level and that I'd definitely need them or the ride. So be sure to look for the headphones before finding your seat. The ride itself was fine, but I'd suggest wearing sunglasses, a hat or hood with strings, or a scarf wrapped tightly over your head if you plan on sitting up top. The wind made seeing or hearing anything difficult.

Very good. Riding on top going over the GG bridge is the best.

Easy to rooming arround and experience to see golden gate . I recommend for those first time like me to use hip hop bus❤️❤️👍👏

Fabulous guest day out in San Fran with Big Bus Tour

Outstanding experience, loved how you can hop off and walk about the the different parts of the city and hop back on and continue your day.

I had the one day Hop-On Hop-Off pass through my Go City All-Inclusive pass that was extended for a 2nd day through September. I showed my Go City pass to the bus driver at one of the stops, and he provided a paper ticket that gave me the two days.When you board, there are ear plug sets. Get the ear plug set, since you will need them to hear the stops called out. There are two jacks for each set of seats and a running narration with fun information about the city and the stops. You can sit inside or upstairs in the open air area.I used the bus at the end of July in the mornings starting around 10:15 - 11:00 am at bus stop 2, Columbus/Ghirardelli Square which is in front of the Hotel Caza across from Marriott Fisherman's Wharf. It is a 6 minute walk to Ghirardelli Square.I always found a seat, and the bus was about 10 - 20 minutes after the time the app said it would be. I recommend you go to the website ahead of time and have the list of stops and the attractions near each and plan ahead. Bring your coat if you plan to get off at the Golden Gate stops 11 and 12. It is super windy and chilly.I took the bus to the stop 3 North Beach / Chinatown which lets you off at North Beach and stop 5 Ferry Building which lets you off across the street. I also did the entire loop getting off at stop 11 South Vista Point / Golden Gate Bridge - get off there for the Golden Gate Visitor Center, a view of the bridge, and information about the bridge up the ramp, and a cafe. Bathrooms are in the parking lot. Hold onto your hat as your cross the bridge or it will get blown off when you ride the bus.IMPORTANT NOTE: ** Stop 11 South Vista Point / Golden Gate Bridge lists Botanical Gardens. It is about 3.2 miles or over 1 hour, 15 minutes by walking. **Stop 12 North Vista Point / Golden Gate Bridge gives you a panoramic view of San Francisco.The last stop is stop 17 Pier 39 with the sea lions, Aquarium of the Bay, Boudin sourdough bakery, and restaurants. A short walk away: - Alcatraz ferry at Pier 33 - Red and White Boat tours at Pier 43 - USS Pampanito submarine is docked at Pier 45
