Gregangelo Museum Tours

We did the "Down the Rabbit Hole" tour and met the with astrologer. It was an absolutely perfect evening! It was just our group at the museum, so we had the place to ourselves. Our tour guide was incredible-- by the end it felt like she was our friend, we'd shared so many stories and experiences. The museum itself is incredible-- so much attention to detail, each room is magnificent and has it's own ambiance. It's a little pricey, but I felt it was totally worth it. I highly recommend, and I would absolutely go again and enjoy a different tour.

What a wonderful, creative experience! This unique Museum is truly a treasure. We learned about Egyptian and other ancient cultural history, literature, and art in an interactive setting. It was fun, edgy, artistic and totally unique. You need to see this for yourselves!

We were warmly welcomed, lavished with music, poetry, art and amazing food and were encouraged to look within as well as through our senses. The joy and kindness were infectious to open our hearts and radiate love and creativity. Can I give 10 stars? Or all the way to infinity and beyond? I've already booked my next adventure :)

My husband and I loved this “experience” - it’s so much more than a “tour”. Marcelo (the creative director) presented us with creative riddles, interesting tales, little known historical facts and stories behind the making of the art as we wandered the grounds. As you can see from the attached photos, the museum is a visual feast. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr Angelo who nourishes the artistic soul of San Francisco. Highly recommend.

We loved this guided, immersive and thought-provoking museum experience. We did the Into the Rabbit Hole tour and the hour-and-a-half we were there went by in a flash. It was a fun experience! I was filled with more than just art. It was a looking glass into yourself and I loved that concept.

Leave behind your preconceived notions and prepare to soak in the experience with an open mind. The artists behind the Gregangelo museum have poured their hearts, souls, and talents into creating this event. The word museum doesn't do it justice.. Think the love child of a private immersive performance and Alice in Wonderland. Amazing sets, beautiful costumes, imaginative themes, story, characters. There isn't time to take in a tenth of of the richnes. I've never seen anything like it. I don't think it could exist anywhere but San Francisco. Fabulous!For Covid reasons the event we experienced was outdoors, The characters maintained distance from us. My "pod" contained my husband and me. The museum accepted one pod every 15 minutes. I felt reasonably safe; We're vaccinated and were required to be masked.The shows change so I'll definitely be back. Also, this is going on the "must do" list for my out-of-town guests.

The tour guides of this gorgeous (inside and out) museum draw you into their spell, immersing you in a landscape that teases and squeezes your imagination, inviting your better angels to stay with you even after their tours have ended .

First and foremost, this wasn't my first encounter at Gregangelo, and it won't be my last. The immersive experience and the internal benefits were on par with a great day at the spa, but with engaging entertainment and eye candy all over the place! I can never get enough of the visual stimulation and the endearing tour facilitators. This is one of my favorite places to just "BE." Enjoy!

I honestly can say that I grin in feeling grateful and happy when recalling a visit here. I embarked on this unexpected experience with a dear friend of many decades. We followed the advice of our dear guide Nick, a gifted facilitator, not a traditional museum docent by any means, to experience the surroundings without taking a lot of photos. It brought me back to a childlike curiosity and amazement of being in the present moment. Every niche and cranny on the exterior as well as the interior explodes with limitless creativity. There were a series of riddles to answer as well as thought provoking questions providing introspection and a deepening of a connection between my friend and I. A highlight was a visit to an intimate space where we were invited to write a note to a deceased one. Think of Day of the Dead altars on steroids! We were also treated to a spontaneous performance with drumming and belly dancing transitioning to us all dancing joyfully together. A soulful lunch of salad, pilaf, butternut squash soup, pumpkin pie and lemonade was deliciously offered by artists. This was an unique engaging experience to be with an open mind and heart to experience wonder and delight!

It was amazing. An interactive museum is hard to explain. When we left we felt as if we had just left therapy. It was soul searching.

We thoroughly enjoyed it, and we loved how our group were integrated into it, so it felt as if we were part of it.I saw it as a journey through the mind, personality, wit and humor of the Velocity Circus Master Artist Gregangelo. It is like walking into his Art...His world as he envisions it, full of love, laughter, hope, dreams, magic, and wonder...It's an evening we'll never forget. Over the top and beautiful!! Tour of Metamorphosis: Emerge From Your Cocoon!! This was an outdoor interactive experiance! I have always been amazed by Gregangelos imagination!!! This is something unique and amazing to be seen! BEAUTIFUL!!!

This was the highlight of my SF trip for the whole family--three generations of us! Every aspect of the tour felt magical, personal, and well-crafted. The house oozed with creativity and whimsey. I will be back again and recommend it to all my coolest friends,

The experience (we did the indoor "Into the Rabbit Hole" tour) was great, and so much more than we had anticipated going in. My wife and I enjoy visiting immersive art exhibits everywhere we go, and we went expecting spaces we would just roam around freely in, enjoying the decor like you would at somewhere like a Meow Wolf. As it turned out, it was a guided experience that fused the interesting visuals we expected with opportunities for self reflection and bonding with fellow tour goers."Into the Rabbit Hole" only allows I think up to 6 people to share a tour; the relative intimacy of the groups is important for both creating the sense of trust needed for people to open up a bit and for keeping the length of the tours reasonable. Our host, Nick, could not have been an iota better at what he did. He was extremely personable, put us and the other couple on our tour instantly at ease, participated in the discussions as if he were another guest when asked to, and gave off an excellent mix of down-to-Earth, decent human being vibes and fantastical art whimsy; the man had charisma and self confidence to spare. As for the house itself and its many exhibits, each room was impressively well conceived and loaded with far more visual details and items (apparently the team is always at work tweaking and designing new items to incorporate so that it's a gently evolving tour) than you could hope to take in on one walk-through. As long as you're comfortable with opening up a bit in front of small groups of strangers, I can't recommend Gregangelo enough.
