The trip started on time and from our hotel. It was just my wife and me - and the tour guide Bill, the San Franciscologist, greeted us warmly. The trip got better as we went along - to Muir Woods, some additional areas near there, a quick drive through Sausalito and then San Francisco. We would highly recommend this tour company - and espcially the very knowlegable Bill!

It’s perfectly paced, and there were times when you could pause and explore the spots she covered more in-depth.

I know my grandparents, my father (he was 6) and his younger brother lived in San Francisco before they were interned, first at Tanforan horse track and then Topaz, Utah.I know Japantown is no where near as large as it was before WWII so the odds that I walked anywhere where my grandparents would have are slim, save perhaps the gate next to the Japanese Language School. Apparently through this gate was a location where Japanese reported for internment. I couldn't help but wonder if this was the one place where my family also stood those many decades ago.The author/narrator of the two did an excellent job. All of the sites she spoke about are still in existence. It was almost surreal to be standing in so many places of history, surrounded by many people who were oblivious as to the life and lives that preceded their own presence.This tour was fascinating. I highly recommend it for anyone.

Our tour guide JoJo was prompt and did a great job driving us around the city and seeing the sights. Very knowledgable about the city and had great stories to tell.He tailored the tour to where ever we wanted to go and even dropped us off back at our hotel. Great guy and a lot of fun.We were a group of 3 people so it was us and JoJo. We did The Presido, Golden Gate Bridge, The Headlands, Sausalito, Golden Gate Park, and a few things in between!

Brian was incredibly easy to work with and very accessible for questions. Jojo, our guide, was EXCELLENT!!!!! We had so much fun and saw a ton of stuff, learned the history/context of things as well. This was a perfect way to see around San Francisco and Sausalito, with absolutely no stress, only enjoyment!!! Riding across the Golden Gate in an open-air Jeep was amazing!!!!!!!

What an incredible day! We booked the 7-hour Full-Day San Francisco City Tour + Muir Giant Redwoods & Sausalito, and it was absolutely phenomenal. This private experience exceeded all our expectations.Our guide, Bill, was hands-down the best. His knowledge of the area is extensive, and we walked away having learned so much while hitting all the iconic San Francisco "hot spots."Since we live in the Bay Area, we will definitely be booking this private tour again whenever friends and family come to visit. It is worth every penny and a great use of time. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous day from start to finish. Our tour guide Joe was very informative and kept us entertained all day. A fantastic way to see a large part of San Francisco including Muir Woods. Be prepared however to be a bit wind swept!!

i love how accurate her descriptions were. we went at our own pace and there was so much more i learned about Jtown than i knew. specifically the Jewish synagogue and Jazz/blues movement

Narrator is very easy to listen to and felt like she was with me. Paced perfectly. Very informative, I will definately try other tours in the series if they are all this good

This is the best tour in the world. The most incredible experience in San Francisco. My wife loved this tour so so much, and she doesn’t usually enjoy tours. Brian is an absolute wizard. Very knowledgeable and kind. It was such a pleasure to spend 3 hours with him. We will be back!
