Absolutely fabulous tour of San Francisco in a classic VW T2b Transporter. Our driver Clay was friendly, told us loads about San Francisco as we drove round. Swapped peoples seating position in the VeeDub to ensure everybody got a different view. Plenty of photo opportunities too Culminating with a ‘spirited’ down Lombard Street before heading back to the pick up point

Amazing food, tour and enthusiasm
Ryan Curtis runs multiple walking and food tours and we were most fortunate to have booked his Chinatown food and walking tour. We got lucky and ended up with a semi-private group with just two couples. That did not deter Ryan from putting on an amazing performance of energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and selection of the best Chinatown foods the city has to offer. We had starters through main courses, such as Peking Duck, desserts, appetizers, and a fantastic tea experience. He brings with him an encyclopedic knowledge of Chinatown history. We could not have been happier with our choice. Ryan is a rockstar who deserves 10 stars out of 5.

What a fun morning!
I joined this tour after my original plans got cancelled, and it ended up being the best day of my trip! I particularly enjoyed getting to experience the Chinatown where people actually live and work, not just the Chinatown that is performed for tourists. Linda made a point of asking each of us if there was anything in particular we wanted to hear or learn about before we took off. We also had a group member who was born and rasied in China, so it was interesting to hear her perspective and input regarding the differences between Chinese Chinese culture and American Chinese culture. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to others visiting San Francisco!

They shared interesting historical facts, local insights, and hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. The small group format made the experience much more personal and enjoyable, allowing us to ask questions and interact throughout the tour.We especially appreciated the carefully planned stops and the breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landmarks. The pace was perfect for families, never feeling rushed while still covering a lot of the city's most iconic locations.Our entire family, including the kids, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The tour exceeded our expectations and gave us wonderful memories of San Francisco. Absolutely book this tour. Best thing we did in San Francisco. It was a wonderful combination of adventure, scenery, storytelling, and personal connection. This is a very special boat and a very special experience! Highly recommend Captain Sal and his boat! Communications and meet-up were clear. Just note you do need to descend a ladder to get onto the boat!

JJ is greatly talented at this tour. They made us feel welcome and safe. This is a challenging tour in a very smelly and grimy part of the city. They have an excellent presentation spiral notebook with a great deal of visuals to present. This added a lot to the tour. My partner really liked this and hopes JJ will write their own history book based on this presentation. We would buy it.
