In spite of a cloudy day, we saw several humpbacks, porpoises, a sea lion and lots of sea birds, but the highlight was seeing an adult humpback whale fully breach-spectacular! Ryan was an excellent naturalist-very friendly and knowledgable. The crew seemed to be concerned that the passengers really enjoyed the day. Would definitely use again.

Mac made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommended! If for nothing else, great stories and a way to get to know this little part of the city's history. The old photos of the city and the ghost detectors really added to the experience and we got to use the dowsing rods to talk to a spirit! Mac is the real deal, no B.S. You will love this tour!

We've done several food tours in the past this was one of the best in terms of spacing the food stops out enough that you had enough time to enjoy what you were eating while also having sufficient time between stops to digest each tasty morsel. This cooking class was a lot of fun! Eddie is a fantastic instructor and his feedback on each of our techniques was very positive. It made the entire event stress free. Each person made their own dumplings from scratch and then we had a dinner featuring our results. I would recommend this class to anyone who loves learning how to cook and/or eat!

Lawrence was an great guide and our whole family truly had an amazing time. We enjoyed a wonderful view while learning how to catch crab. Lawrence not only provided all the needed supplies but also clear simple instructions on how it's done. If thats not enough he also cooked us a delicious lunch with the crabs we caught, you can't get any fresher than that!

Getting onboard was super fast. The boarding location is great and you get to go past the sea lions on your way out to the bay. You felt seen by the crew unlike on one of the big night cruises that has a 100 people or more. Plus you got a nice glass of wine and they let you taste them first to make sure you would like it before pouring a glass. Overall a great experience.

It was a last minute decision since we had a few hours to kill before our next activity and it made it into one of the most emerald things on our trip. Being in a sailboat, sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alkatraz was absolutely amazing. We saw birds, dolphins a sailboat race-Just great! Definitely recommend and worth every penny.

As long time San Franciscans, we thought we knew this city- but this tour gave us a whole new appreciation for it! The evening was the perfect mix of fascinating local history, entertaining spooky stories, and incredible food. Every stop offered something delicious, and there was more than enough to go around. Our guide was fantastic and experience was both informative and fun. We loved seeing familiar streets through a different lens and hearing stories we’d never heard before. What a fun night out! We’d highly recommend it to both visitors and fellow locals looking to experience SF in a new way!

Cool San Francisco did a good job keeping me apprised of this trip. We met the captain and mate of this 41’, two-masted sailboat near the end of Pier 39 in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf area. The captain went over a few safety rules and offered a few beverage choices before we motored out to the Golden Gate Bridge. From there we sailed along the northern part of the Bay and around Alcatraz before heading back to the dock. The weather was mostly overcast with a few sprinkles and light winds. Apparently that is more common with the 10 a.m. trip and winds pick up by the 12 o’clock trip. We and a second couple enjoyed conversation with the crew plus we watched passing ships, porpoises, birds, and some guy swimming with an accompanying boat.. Overall a very relaxing morning well worth the trip.
