Amazing experience and after visiting Muir woods, where we got to see the beautiful redwood trees and a coyote we travelled to sausalito. Started foggy but turned out beautiful weather. Our guide Judith was lovely. Very knowledgeable and engaging. I also had a lovely chat with her after being dropped off. I would definitely book again with Cool Destinations travel, great prices, and they constantly message to update you on your upcoming trip, gorgeous bus and brilliant guide 🙂

Absolutely fabulous tour of San Francisco in a classic VW T2b Transporter. Our driver Clay was friendly, told us loads about San Francisco as we drove round. Swapped peoples seating position in the VeeDub to ensure everybody got a different view. Plenty of photo opportunities too Culminating with a ‘spirited’ down Lombard Street before heading back to the pick up point

Great food, local history and an amazing guide
Mark was an amazing guide and really made the tour. Being from San Francisco and a chef, he knew his stuff when it came to the food, but what made it especially good was all the local history and context he brought into it. He gave us a real sense of the different neighbourhoods, the cultures that shaped them and how the food fits into that story, which brought the whole experience to life. I really liked that the tour covered a few different parts of San Francisco rather than staying within one neighbourhood like a lot of food tours do. It felt like you got to see and understand much more of the city, while still trying some great food along the way. Would definitely recommend, and Mark was a huge part of what made it so good.

Mike was an amazing guide. He provided a lot of great history and background on all of the stops, including the cable car museum. We really loved the Dim Sum spot, pizza and gelato. Highly recommend this tour if you’re interested in learning more about Chinatown and Little Italy.

An amazing trip! Exactly what we wanted and Patrick our tour guide was amazing. It’s a short city tour about an hour long, photo stop at Golden Gate Bridge and then onto Muir woods. Beautiful place and 90 minutes was just enough time to do just over an hour of walking (we went to bridge three and back) and then spent some time in the gift shop and cafe. There’s an option to get off in Sausalito on the way back if you want to explore more but we stayed on the shuttle and were taken back to our starting point. Patrick provided lots of great facts, jokes and music along the way. Would highly recommend Dylan’s Tours!

Amazing food, tour and enthusiasm
Ryan Curtis runs multiple walking and food tours and we were most fortunate to have booked his Chinatown food and walking tour. We got lucky and ended up with a semi-private group with just two couples. That did not deter Ryan from putting on an amazing performance of energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and selection of the best Chinatown foods the city has to offer. We had starters through main courses, such as Peking Duck, desserts, appetizers, and a fantastic tea experience. He brings with him an encyclopedic knowledge of Chinatown history. We could not have been happier with our choice. Ryan is a rockstar who deserves 10 stars out of 5.
