The tour was perfectly organized and a VERY relaxing and efficient use of our first day in San Francisco. Unbelievable photo opportunities of the Golden Gate Bridge and Muir Woods was both simple and enchanting. Many available hikes if that’s your thing. The stop in Sausalito was very quaint and an excellent stop for lunch. If booking, call ahead of time and request Peter!! An exceptional guide and a wonderful person to spend the day with!!

I'd recommend this ride even if you're not a tourist — it's a great way to see the city from a different angle. Unlike the other boat rides around the Embarcadero, this one sits lower on the water, so it feels a lot more intimate with the bay.Our larger belongings got stored in a secure box at the dock. I wore a sling underneath the waterproof jacket they gave us, and I'd brought my own waterproof pants too, but they had extra-large ones and sunglasses on hand for anyone who needed them.The captain was a San Francisco native and said he's been doing this since the 1990s — so he's a pro.The ride sometimes went fast, which was fun, and I did get splashed a little bit.

I joined the three day camping trip from SFO and have absolutely loved it. Blessed with the weather, a small hut super friendly female only group (agin hit the jackpot on this), and FABULOUS route. Loved every single minute of it. The trip was planned to cover the best spots in the valley and around, and our guide Josh was funny and pretty knowledgeable with everything that’s going on. 1000/10! Have recommended to my family to do the trip also.

I’ve already visited so many countries and places, but I’ve never had an experience quite like this before. Such an incredibly cool experience! It was really interesting, and I loved that you can choose an audio guide in your native language (Ukrainian), stop wherever you want, and it is so easy to navigate. Next time I visit, I’ll definitely do it again different route again!!!

Me and my husband had a wonderful experience with the tour that was booked with Cool San Francisco. We were picked up at the arranged time, taken to the golden gate bridge where we had 10/15mins for photo opportunity, thank driven to Muir woods stayed for an 1 1/2 hours. Muir woods was not too busy at that time of the morning but when we left it had started to get busy. We than drove to Sausalito and spent an hour around the marina. There was a farmers market and lots of quaint little shops definitely worth visiting. We were than dropped off at Pier 33 with ample time. Given our Alcatraz tickets. We waited for the ferry. Alcatraz is definitely a must. Very eerier and sad to see how the prisoners had lived. What they must have endured. The tour was well organised and our guide Buddy was very knowledgeable in all areas and definitely kept us entertained Have booked a few tours with Cool San Francisco now. Always a good experience.

Lana, our guide, was AMAZING. This was my best experience in San Fran largely because I lucked out with her as a guide. Not all the guides are like her. If you can request her - do it! The Muir Woods were so beautiful as was Sausalito. This was worth the visit if you enjoy a nice walk through the wilderness, nicely combined with some leisure time along the bay.
