San Francisco Self-guided Tours & Rentals

Much thanks to the owner for the special price accommodation to make-up for the unfortunate situation in 2020 that occurred & resulted in a cancellation of my reservation. The e-bike is more suitable than riding a regular bike around the San Francisco streets/hills. It definitely cut my round trip across the Golden Gate in half and the throttle helped the ride up the steep hills much easier (that's the only time it should be used). The e-bike has a U-lock and a helmet is available (optional). The shop was closed when I returned, I was able to return the e-bike to the garage next door as the owner instructed prior to check-out. I loved riding the e-bike for a day, I am looking forward to renting it again from AB&T when I return to the Bay area.

Their E bike was comfy and had a very impressive charge. Additionally, before ever starting, I had to call Customer Service to fix a mistake I made with the booking, and they were very easy to connect with. I ended up spending several hours going as far north as San Quentin & the Larkspur ferry, was able to take this bike on the ferry back to town, then rode as far south as the ballpark and as far west as Lombard Street. After all of this, the bike still had 3 of its 4 battery bars (granted, I turned it off when not using it, and did not use the e-assist for *every* single mile). For all this and more, I would be willing to consider this company the next time I in any town they operate in.

We had a great time on the E bikes. We rode all the way to Muir Woods, which was a treacherous ride, but beautiful scenery. We had to take a taxi back to Sausalito. The bikes were great, and we had a wonderful time.

Not only did I get my highest all time score in a scavenger hunt, but had an amazing time doing it. My newly engaged fiancée and I did this the morning after I proposed and it was the perfect activity to keep with the excitement and levity of the moment. We ran around A beautiful quaint town and the scavenger hunt ended at a brewery that I decided to have a couple pints at and relive the crazy photos and videos we took around town.Thanks Katie for being the best virtual assistant!

This was a great way to see the Embarcadero. Much more fun for our family to answer trivia questions as we went along than to just walk. We stopped for lunch in the middle at the Ferry Building.

Great day! Booked the rentals ahead of time through Cool San Francisco. Got there around 9 am when the shop opened. Several associates were there to assist us. Shout out to Sadiq for taking care of us! We were on our bikes with locks and helmets in minutes. One of the guides helped us adjust our seats and we were off. The booking clearly states the Beach Street address. Right next to Ghirardelli and easy access to Golden Gate Bridge. Our family of 5 biked to Sausalito without a problem. We had plenty of time to enjoy lunch and shopping before taking the ferry back. Then biked around the wharf a bit. The shop closes at 7 so no rushing necessary. I would definitely recommend this company!

A great way to experience downtown Half Moon Bay and appreciate some spots we may have otherwise missed. Fun and well thought out.

overall it was pretty fun. two of the places no longer existed so it was frustrating searching for something that was no longer there. Might be a little easier if instead of looking for a specific store if you said for instance find an art piece, that way we're not looking for an exact gallery, and Half Moon Bay there are a dozen galleries so we could have wandered into anyone and made that happen. Just an idea. One fun experience was when we were looking for the old building with the turret and then we turned the corner and it was right in front of us! It was also fun getting a video of a local and why they like living there.

Used these guys before, but a guided tour round Central Park which was brilliant. When I found out they had opened a store in SF it made sense to use them again, despite cheaper and more convenient companies near our hotel. We rented E-bikes instead of push bikes this time to cope with the monstrous hills! Can’t fault the company again. Only reason they have a four stars is, when I checked there website they said they were open till 9pm so the plan was to arrive around midday to do Golden Gate Bridge, the presidio and Golden gate park. On arrival though the guy told us they were shutting at 5 as they had gone to winter opening times, but the fee was still the same as what it would have cost till 9pm. I think they need to make sure the site reflects winter opening times as well as on here, because at the time of writing this, it’s still showing 9pm.

The rental guy was very nice and also explained the way to go to Sausalito. The bikes were fine, the tour to Sausalito is perfect because there is a great route for cyclists, through the Golden gate. The only drawback is that the saddle of a bike was not fixed and therefore a bit uncomfortable

We enjoyed the bicycle hire, however we found it deceiving that it states different types of bicycles available, but no where did it stage the electric bikes will be more expensive, and no options on check out to choose. This was quite badly handled.

We went there to rent 2 bikes for the golden gate bridge & sausalito riding. Alex explained us the route thoroughly, so we could follow the map easily. The bikes were great, and Alex was delightful. Thanks for your kind service and nice jokes!!

San Francisco is a great place to go for a bike ride. I was in San Francisco and went to Unlimited Biking this time to rent a bike. They have lots of bikes to choose from.

We wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge and explore San Francisco. Having decided to do this by bike we located Unlimited Biking The bikes, service and advice was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend using Unlimited Bikes if you are in the San Francisco area.

We spent an entire day touring the city with these bikes. The climb assist option was totally worth it to get up all around those hills! I would recommend to anyone visiting the city that it is money well spent renting the e-bikes. We worked with Alex who was very knowledgeable of the area and recommended areas to visit with the bikes.
