Great tour - Bill kept us safe, added informative commentary and kept us entertained. Some practicalities - arrive 30 mins early to sort you bike out. The hire base is at the end of the Powell and Hyde cable car. Rent an electric bike, as some of the route is steep so the electric bike helps, unless you can do the Tour de France. The pace is easy, lots of stops. Total distance was 13 km in 2 hours

If you want to walk around the city with good people and a great guide, then this is it! Josh knows his stuff with a camera and makes sure you learn it. The people in the group were a ton of fun, with a variety of skills. Josh knew a lot of the history of the area and was not shy in sharing. The quality of the photos I took has surprised me and made me anxious to head out on another walk with Josh. You should come too!

I have always known San Francisco had a plethora of LGBTQ+ history, but I never considered how much centralized in the Tenderloin. People often give it a bad rap, so it was refreshing to dive into some of the monumental experiences that occurred in the area and see what still exists in the area to this day. I had a great time on the walking tour and would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in learning more about queer history attend a session! I would happily take another tour with our guide -- it was a lot of fun!

Eric really knows his stuff—he even has first-hand experience with a lot of what he talks about. He's also a great storyteller, which made the tour super engaging. I learned so much and found the whole thing really interesting. Some of the history is tough, but Eric does a great job showing why it matters and why we should care. Highly recommend!
